Although Fall officially began as of Saturday, this Miami-esque weather happening in Los Angeles is displaying anything but cool breezes and rustling golden leaves. In spite of the weather’s shenanigans I will not be deterred from posting about one of my favorite styles of footwear and wardrobe essential: Boots!
Boots in all different flavors from: knee-high to ankle, pointy-toe to open-toe, leather, suede, studded, distressed, wedge, stiletto… Any and all kinds of boots!
To kick things off, let’s begin with the classic tall boot. Tall boots come in a wide range of styles; whether you’re looking for something dressy like the Ros Hommerson Tanya knee-high boots with button down detailing, perfect for an evening on the town or you’re looking for a super comfortable day boot with eye-catching detail like the tan suede Rumer by Ugg. You are guaranteed to find a style that fits your needs!
The one key detail that is not to be overlooked when shopping for tall boots is the shaft circumference. Most women shopping for large size boots are simultaneously looking for boots with wide-calfs (16” plus). Myself included in the group of ladies with big legs (that I love!), every boot featured, with the exception of the Rumer, comes with a wide shaft!
Barefoot Tess is offering $10 Off during the month of September with discount code 10-Sep and… Torrid is offering $25 for every $50 you spend in store or online (so technically you can snag a pair a boots for more than 50% off!)
First to Last: Torrid Iris Cognac, $59 (up to size 13); Ugg Rumer, $295; Torrid Luna Taupe, $59 (up to size 13), Torrid Luna Black, $59 (up to size 13); Ros Hommerson Tanya, $216 (up to size 13); Torrid Coco, $59 (up to size 13).
*I will be doing a five-part post to cover the basic styles of boots: tall boots, ankle boots, riding and moto boots, rain boots and luxe boots. So check your email for the latest!
